Since 2016, Sylvain has been at the helm of Croesus and ensures that the board’s vision permeates across the different levels of the organization, in addition to playing an active business development role with potential clients. He is known for his in-depth industry knowledge and his commitment to the success of Croesus. With more than 27 years of experience to his credit, he is a pioneer in the creation of numerous software including the very first Croesus platform. Sylvain graduated from ÉTS in Montréal with an Engineering degree in computer sciences and began his career at Croesus in 1994.

Annik joined Croesus in 2017 and served as a business analyst for a few years. She is now a product leader, where she helps improve Croesus’s wealth management solutions. In this role, she actively participates in driving Croesus’s mission for digital innovation by continuously seeking to maximize the value of the products she leads. With a passion for her work and a reputation for integrity, Annik has worked in fields as diverse as the restaurant industry, healthcare, public safety, insurance, and wealth management. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Sherbrooke, and has obtained her PSPO (Professional Scrum Product Owner) I and II certifications.

Djaffer Maloufi joined Croesus in 2023 with over 17 years of experience in the financial services industry. His career journey has been marked by a dedication to driving growth in the field of Wealth Management. He is now a product leader, passionate about leveraging his extensive experience and expertise to drive innovation, improve product offerings, and deliver value to clients. Prior to his role at Croesus, he held the position of product manager, where he significantly contributed to the development, management and marketing of investment solutions products at Desjardins Investments. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science from the Université du Québec à Montréal and has obtained his PSPO (Professional Scrum Product Owner) I and PSM (Professional Scrum Master) I certifications.

Raghid Nami is an expert in WealthTech and FinTech. He began his career at RBC Direct Investing improving and implementing tools for traders and solutions to improve services to investors. He then turned to technology consulting as a software application integration engineer. He is now a business product leader at Croesus and is in charge of APIs and integration tools as well as reporting capabilities. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the American University of Beirut and numerous certifications in software development and product management.

Susan Copland is a legal and policy specialist, focusing on a wide range of areas in the securities industry. She began her career at the TSX Venture Exchange (TMX), working with industry and regulators to develop Exchange policies to facilitate the growth of venture issuers, while ensuring investors were protected. From there, she moved to the Investment Industry Association of Canada, where she worked with industry committees to develop consensus on various industry positions, including investment banking, equity markets, wealth management, dispute resolution, and privacy regulation, where she has specialized over the last number of years. Susan earned certifications from the International Association of Privacy Professionals in Canadian Privacy Law (CIPP/C) and Privacy Management (CIPM). She has worked to assist firms in developing practical privacy programs to meet the new regulatory and client expectations. Currently Susan is Senior Policy Counsel with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO).

At the head of the Croesus Lab research team, Maxime explores new technologies and their impact on the financial industry. His research expertise is mainly in data visualization. However his work involves a multitude of other fields: data science, machine learning, NLP, operations research and cryptography, etc. As an Adjunct Professor at l’École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS), he leverages his experience in software development to mentor students and share his knowledge. Maxime completed his PhD in Software Engineering in 2015 at the École de technologie supérieure in Montreal. He also has a master’s degree in IT and a bachelor’s degree in software engineering.
